The Southern California Region of Co-Dependents Anonymous provides a bridge between the many
SoCalCoDA Communities and the
CoDA World Fellowship. We are dedicated to all co-dependents who still suffer and have a
desire for healthy and loving relationships.
The only requirement for membership is a desire for healthy and loving drelationships. We rely on
the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions for
knowledge and wisdom. These are the principles of our program and guides to developing honest and
fulfilling relationships. Through applying the Twelve Steps and principles
in CoDA to our daily life and relationships, both present and past, we can experience a new freedom
from our self-defeating lifestyles and realize a new joy, acceptance and serenity in our lives.
What is a CoDA Meeting?
At the 2023 and 2024 CoDA Service Conferences, the requirements for a CoDA meeting changed.
The new requirements for every meeting, that is listed at CoDA.org, is as follows:
- Read The Welcome (short or long version)
- Read the Preamble of Co-Dependents Anonymous
- Read the Twelve Steps of Co-Dependents Anonymous
- Read theTwelve Traditions of Co-Dependents Anonymous
- Only read and use CoDA's Twelve Step Literature for the meeting
Meetings who choose not to read the four Foundational Documents or use a non-CoDA Twelve Step book will not be recognized as CoDA meetings and will not be listed in the CoDA Meeting Directory on the CoDA.org website.
These new requirements are found on pages 5 and 6 in
Part 2 of The Fellowship Service Manual.

Zoom Meetings for Southern California
Does your meeting need a zoom instance?
- Please email socalcodazoom@gmail.com to request a Zoom meeting for your group.
- Please provide your meeting number as listed on coda.org.
- The time for your Zoom meeting should match what is on coda.org's meeting site.
- Your meeting will not receive host credentials.
